“I stare at the mirror and tell myself Puerco y Babosa will be the best it can be. And that’s cool because I’m starting to believe it.”

— CREATOR OF PUERCO Y BABOSA

“This hits home, harder than when I would get hit at home.”

TEDDY VILLA
— VOICE OF PUERCO

Puerco y Babosa is a series about growing up Chicano, created by David Munguia in collaboration with Pero Like’s Joey Martinez and Teddy Villa.

“Puerco y Babosa” translates into Pig and Slug, but in Spanish it also means “slob and stupid” - a perfect descriptor for the absurd universe these characters live in. "Puerco y Babosa'' brings audiences into the vibrant world of Latine culture as it captures the essence of growing up Chicano, and mashing it with cartoon physics! It marks our first animated series dedicated to Latine upbringing in America, with a focus on sibling rivalry and family dynamics. This series’ commitment to authenticity can be seen in the team behind the scenes - all proudly part of the Latine community, ensuring genuine storytelling that resonates with audiences.
